Logic Model Template
Logic models are useful for organizing and visually representing the core elements of a particular project. By creating associations between priorities, activities, and results the logic model serves as a heuristic device that is useful for program and proposal design as well as communicating with a potential partner or investor.
The template below is an oversimplified logic model designed to help you break your project down and focus on the core elements as they relate to your goals and objectives. The task is to fill in the columns below that help you to convey the intended goals, design, and anticipated outcomes of your effort.
We encourage you to use this as a model for focusing your thinking about your project for the Meet the Funders session. There you will have opportunity to gain insight directly from some of our region’s most respected grantmaking organizations and staff. Organizing your thoughts via the logic model will help prepare you for brief discussion and follow up with potential funders whom you meet.
The information is the first row is provided as an example. Feel free to expand the model to include columns such as need, specific activities, and/or resources.
